在 3月尾 Emad Mostaque 聲稱是為了發展 Open Source 而辭去 Stability AI CEO 一職。令人猜疑 Stability AI 並不打算 Open Source Stable Diffusion 3，及後引發 Hugging Face 對收購 Stability AI 感興趣，並打算在收購後 Open source Stable Diffusion 3。

Stability AI 又推出一款新的 Checkpoint Model - Cos Stable Diffusion XL，Cos 的意思就是 Cosine-Continuous。其中最大賣點就是 Cos Stable Diffusion XL Edit 版整，使用這個 Checkpoint Model 以全新的方法去進行 inpaint，不用落 mask，不用 controlnet，直接用 prompt 就可以做到 inpaint 效果！

Stable Diffusion 3 API 登場
官方一直視 Stable Diffusion 3 為殺手鐧，一直發佈新聞但沒有直接推出，今次就將 Stable Diffusion 3 放到 Stability 的 Developer Platform 上以 API 形式發佈，令傳聞不會 open source Stable Diffusion 3 的真實性再度增加。
